They not only add beauty to any space, but they also have numerous health benefits. Plants help purify the air, reduce stress levels, and improve overall well-being. This makes them the perfect gift for teachers who work hard every day to educate and inspire their students.

Whether it is your mom on Mother’s Day, your best friend on their birthday, or a colleague who has been a supportive mentor, potted plants make thoughtful and meaningful gifts.

Arundel High School Flower Delivery

Arundel High School, located in Gambrills, Maryland, is a public high school within the Anne Arundel County Public School system. Established in 1854 as the Anne Arundel Academy, it transitioned to Arundel High School in 1926, making it one of the oldest public high schools in the United States. The current building was constructed in 1949 and has undergone several renovations.

Facilities and Programs

Arundel High School offers a wide range of facilities and programs to support the academic, athletic, and extracurricular needs of its students. The school’s main building includes classrooms, science labs, computer labs, a library, and an auditorium. Additionally, there are multiple athletic fields for sports such as football, soccer, baseball/softball, lacrosse, and track.

The school also offers several specialized programs to enhance students’ education. These include the Advanced Placement (AP) program which allows students to take college-level courses in high school and potentially earn college credit. Arundel High School also has a Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Program that focuses on preparing students for careers in these fields. There is also a robust music program, including various bands, orchestras, and choirs, as well as a drama department that puts on multiple shows throughout the year.

Arundel High School prides itself on its diverse student body and inclusive community. The school has a variety of clubs and organizations to cater to different interests and passions. These include cultural clubs such as the Asian Culture Club and Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA), service clubs like Key Club and Interact, and academic clubs like National Honor Society and Math Team. Students are encouraged to get involved in these extracurricular activities to broaden their horizons and build connections with their peers.

In addition to clubs and organizations, the school also offers various sports teams for students to participate in. These include traditional sports like basketball, soccer, and track, as well as unique options such as ultimate frisbee and rock climbing. Participation in sports not only promotes physical fitness but also teaches valuable lessons in teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

The school also has a strong focus on community service. Students are required to complete a set number of service hours each year, but many go above and beyond this requirement by volunteering with local organizations or participating in service trips abroad. Through these experiences, students learn the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on society.

Academics at our school are rigorous and challenging, but also highly rewarding. The curriculum is designed to develop critical thinking skills and encourage students to become lifelong learners. The small class sizes allow for personalized attention from teachers, fostering a strong teacher-student relationship. In addition to traditional academic subjects such as math, science, English, and history, our school also offers a wide range of elective courses in the arts, technology, and languages. This enables students to explore their interests and passions outside of the core curriculum.
